Terms and Booking Conditions

The website

The tour descriptions, durations and prices on this site are given in good faith but may change. The details that apply to your tour are the ones confirmed when you book.

Booking

You can ask for a tour by email, phone or WhatsApp. A booking is confirmed only when I confirm it to you in writing, by email or WhatsApp, with the date, time, meeting point, number of guests and price.

Prices and payment

Prices are in euros. Each tour page shows the starting price for 1–2 guests and the price for each additional guest; the final price is the one in your confirmation. Payment is in cash on the day of the tour or by bank transfer.

If you cancel

• More than 20 days before the tour: 100% refund.
• 10 to 20 days before: 70% refund.
• 6 to 9 days before: 50% refund.
• 5 days or less before: no refund.

Any non-refundable third-party costs already paid specifically for your tour, such as entrance tickets, transport or other reserved services, may be deducted from the refund.

Tours are leisure services booked for a specific date, so the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply (Italian Consumer Code, art. 59(1)(n)); the cancellation terms above apply instead.

Weather, safety and changes

Walking and cultural tours usually run in light rain, and the itinerary may be adapted to the conditions. Boat experiences depend on the weather and the lake, and safety comes first: if a boat trip cannot run safely, I will try to move it to another date or offer a suitable alternative, and if it cannot be rescheduled, the amount paid for it is refunded. If I have to cancel a tour myself, you receive a full refund of what you paid for it.

If you are running late, please tell me as soon as you can. I will adapt where possible, but the tour may still need to end at the planned time when it involves timed tickets, ferries, boats or other reservations.

During the tour

Please tell me before booking about mobility needs, allergies or anything else that matters for the day, bring a valid passport or identity card for tours into Switzerland, and follow the safety instructions of boat and transport operators.

Some services that are part of a tour, such as boats, private transport, ferries, venues and tastings, are provided by other operators under their own conditions. I choose them with care and accompany you throughout.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
